When co-designing and overseeing funded humanitarian projects, RPI:

• Engages refugee-led partners working in urban areas and informal settlements
• Facilitates community-led prioritization of challenges and solutions
• Advises on supporting access to urban services and filling gaps in service provision
• Promotes a rights-based approach to protect and empower rights-holders and engage and support duty-bearers
• Encourages attention to issues of gender, child protection, and access by persons with disabilities
• Advises on and supports project monitoring to ensure that results are effectively tracked and achieved
